The Glynn Academy girls volleyball team saw its postseason run come to an end Wednesday evening with a loss to North Forsyth in the Class AAAAAA state quarterfinals. The Lady Terrors were playing at home, but North Forysth was just too good as the Raiders defeated Glynn 3-0 in the best 3-of-5 match to advance to the state semifinals. Glynn (17-16) reached the Elite Eight with a 3-1 victory at Woodward Academy on Saturday after knocking off Tift County at home in the first round last Wednesday. North Forsyth (42-7), a top-10 team in the state rankings, will now face Sequoyah in the semifinals on Saturday. Sequoyah is ranked No. 1. - By GCS Staff
